I Never Claimed to be Saint...

Lately I've been in this kind of dark place in my life. I'm missing someone, a lot, going through a bunch of changes, and have some huge decisions to make about my life. I've really been stopping to reevaluate and reassess most aspect of my sl and rl lately. 

My name is Frost, there's a reason I've got that name and I didn't give it to myself. I'm known to be cold, aloof, distant... And I've never much minded people having that opinion of me. Might have even encouraged it. 

But the truth is, I do have emotions. I don't show them often or to many people but when I do let someone in they see I am a lot less ice than I project. Well, now I'm opening up to you all... I really wanted to push right into that in this piece. And as a writer and photographer, well, I get to do that and make it into art. Which is kinda awesome. 

I think exploring different places is one of my favourite things about being a blogger. Finding cool places that fit every different mood you could possibly have, it's a job perk. There's sims for happy, for crazy, for rockin, for sad, for angry... And that's a dream for photography and blogging because you don't always have to be happy to produce art. 

In fact, some of the best art comes from pain, sadness, and loneliness, in my opinion. So being in the slightly darker mood I've been in I went searching for a place to suit that and the look I'd put together for it. I stumbled upon the amazingly cool Beck, One Caress which is a lovely, flooded, fantasy sort of place suited to the mood I've been keeping lately. This stone structure drew me to it right away and and decked out in my C88 (mostly) clothes, Dark Passions Koffin Nails, and 7 Deadly S{k}in, I had, even in the slightly darker mood I was in, a soppingly good time with this one. 

So this is me being me. Imperfect, making mistakes, showing my flaws. Because after a while, you get so tired of all those standards people hold you up to and just want to rest for a little while. No, I never claimed to be a saint. So I'm done trying to live up to the expectations of one...

In this outfit you just FEEL like setting trends. The dress and boots were so much fun I didn't even need to venture out of my home before getting all the pics I needed, though of course, I DID wear it out. I mean, how could you not want to show off all this cool stuff! 

From the 7 Deadly S{k}in to the Dark Passion Koffin Nails, from the Blueberry dress and Scarf to the Boo's Designs Boots... every part of this outfit  was fun and gave a sweet-with-an -edge look that I fell in love with. So you decide.. Goody two shoes like song says? Or not? :) I know they set fashion, not follow, for sure!

Okay, so waiting around may not be fun.. or productive. But waiting around in this little Tied Underbust Dress by Skye's the Limit Fashions is at least adorably fun, especially with flawless skin from 7 Deadly S{k}ins and ever-interesting Dark Passions Koffin Nails... 

Waiting around in the 8f8 "No Place of ours" brick corner building from the first ever (November) release of MadPea's Deco(c)rate is just lovely. 

I doubt I'd be lonely for long in this flirty and fun dress anyway...
